Mount Field National Park

Just an hour and a half drive from Hobart lies Mount Field, Tasmania’s first nature reserve since 1885 and one of its oldest national parks. During the winter, the area is known for its skiing opportunities, but the summer provides some of the state’s best nature walks featuring mountains, waterfalls, and a variety of plants and wildlife.
