About a 45-minute drive from Auckland CBD, the seaside town of Piha is a lovely destination for an afternoon or weekend trip. The turquoise ocean, black sand beaches, and nearby forest in the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park — go check out Kitekite Falls — make Piha worth the drive.
