Glass House Mountains National Park

Millions of years ago, volcanic activity created the intrusive plugs that make up the spectacular mountain peaks seen at Glass House Mountains National Park, located about an hour north of Brisbane. The lookouts with views of Mt Ngungun are especially breathtaking. The forests and eucalypt woodlands surrounding the mountains host a wide array of animals and plants, several of which are of conservation significance.
