You can’t possibly visit the Coromandel Peninsula without going to the famous Cathedral Cove, characterized by its turquoise waters and fascinating rock formations like Te Hoho Rock and Cave Tunnel Rock. The site is accessible only by foot, boat, or kayak, so you have to park your vehicle at Grange Road in Hahei and walk about 20 minutes from there. But once you get there, the incredible ocean views will be well worth it.
