Curtain Fig National Park

Traveling to a National Park to see just one particular tree may sound odd, but the giant “curtain fig” is a special sight to behold. Located in an endangered mabi forest, the tree’s long roots drop from 15 meters above down to the forest floor, creating a “curtain”.

This park is included the Aboriginal Ngadgjon-Jii people’s traditional land. Make sure that you respect their special site during your visit.
